Project Life
Stopping self harm step by little step.
Hello and welcome to Project life. My name is Chynna, I am a student at Kingsford High School. you've probably seen the signs or maybe you stumbled upon this website by chance while searching around the internet. And if you are confused about what project life is, let me explain. If you looked around a room there is more than likely going to be at least one person. All by themselves off in the corner. They wear a long sleeve and either the brightest smile you will ever see or not a single expression on their face. If you were to watch them for a while they may start to pull at the sleeves of their sweatshirt. They have something on their arms that they want no one to see. That's just the obvious ones. There are the same people that you would never guess because they wear short sleeves and tank tops but notice. If you bump their sides or bump their legs, they flinch. have you put 2 and 2 together yet? Project life is a Anti-Self harm movement. I myself have dealt with self harm for several years now. I have been through therapy once, for a suicide attempt. But this page isn't for my story. You see self harm is so often just forgotten about until it becomes suicide. As though the people who are going through that much pain are not important until they are almost dead. How is that right? It was time for someone to stand up. This is my revolution. This is how I am going to put an end to this. If I can save just one life in the process I would be so happy. This is project life, I will no longer sit and watch a blind eye be turned to this. Im taking a stand. Will you stand with me?
